| I only consider one gem OC of mine to be my gemsona, and she is very personal to me and will not be posted. Instead, have my space pirate gems - Space Pirate Gems:
- Chrysocolla:
 Name: Chrysocolla Gem Description: Round, no facet, located on chest to represent her love for the crew of her ship Weapon: Pirate-inspired sword Abilities: General gem abilities, she has a pocket dimension inside her gem just like Pearl Personality: I'd just list a bunch of traits, but that wouldn't do. The best way to explain her personality is like this: She is the captain of a ship full of gem space pirates with no alliance to any other gems. She keeps her crew together by loving them like family. She speaks clearly and kindly to her crew, and to the crews of the starships she raids. She is very forgiving and will never punish a crew member for making a mistake. She never kills prisoners, and will almost never harm the crews of raided ships. She always lets the rest of her crew choose their loot first before going in and taking whatever's left over. While she is definitely very gentle, she fights fiercely with both her words and her sword when she needs to. Voice: Young, powerful, crystal-clear in both sound and in words I suck at drawing hands, but my avatar is supposed to look like her hand print to give you a better idea of what her hands look like. Her thumbs can each be used as either a thumb or a pinky, making her able to grip things a lot better.

| I like her a lot - very different from how you'd typically imagine a pirate to be personality wise. Plus, she's cute ^^
What made her become a pirate, especially since her personality seems to go against the norm of pirates? |

| I don't have it all figured out yet, but basically she and a bunch of other gems felt they were being mistreated by the Homeworld gems and they decided to leave. I will work out the details of what was up with them on Homeworld when we learn more about it in the show. Chrysocolla wasn't always the captain, and it was the previous captain, a gem to be feared, who decided they should all be pirates.
Chrysocolla was originally second in command, but the previous captain died from a shattered gem and left Chrysocolla in charge. Since Chrysocolla respected her and nobody really wanted to go back to what they did before becoming pirates, she chose to keep being a pirate. And the crew is pretty happy with her unusual leadership! Well, most of the crew is, anyway. |
