| Umm...hey guys. I'm planning out a potential Steven Universe fan fic which I call Howling Gem. It'll have 12 chapters total, and the focus will be on an OC I created named Howlite (don't worry! He won't be a Gary Stu! I promise!). I'm still unsure if I want to go through with it though, as many people don't like OC-centered fan fics in general for obvious reasons. Would you guys like to read something like this? Here's the basic premise (hidden in spoilers): - Spoiler:
Basically, Steven and Connie, while collecting seashells, find a broken rock on the beach. Steven accidentally uses his healing powers on it, which is revealed to be a Gem containing Howlite, a gem who used to be in Rose Quartz's army during the battle for Earth. He's terribly shy, doesn't speak, and is fearful of everything. But gradually, their friendship allows him to come out of his shell. However, when other Homeworld gems discover his existence (more OCs, not Peridot, Lapis, and Jasper for obvious reasons), they hatch a plan to take them all back to Homeworld. But these gems have connections with the Crystal Gems that Steven doesn't know about, and they have to fight them in order to go back to Earth.
Would you guys like to read something like this? I have the whole thing planned out, it'll mostly be Steven/Connie cuteness, I've been bookmarking screenshots of Steven's house and room so I can describe it properly, etc. I want to know what you guys think before I write it. Plus I do have a Sailor Moon fan fic taking priority at the moment. |
